The break-in probably caused mass panic among the animals
Presumably as a result of this attempted break-in, the animals panicked and kicked each other to death.
In total there are around 5,000 chickens on the farm.
The district veterinary office has been informed, the police report.
The police are now investigating trespassing, property damage and violations of the Animal Welfare Act.
