Buckingham Palace announced last night (Monday) that King Charles was diagnosed with cancer during tests he underwent at the hospital - after an enlarged prostate was discovered in his body.

At this stage it was not disclosed what type of cancer he had - but it was known that he had started a series of "regular treatments".

The unfortunate announcement brought us back to the prophecies of the French prophet Nostradamus.

To remind you, one of his predictions for 2024 has already come true, when he allegedly predicted the strong earthquake (magnitude 7.6) that struck central Japan on January 1.

Now it appears that another of his predictions concerning King Charles III is coming true and if this is already his second "shot" - we probably really need to be careful of his other predictions for the coming year.

The prophet, whose real name is Michel de Nostradamus, published his prophecies in his book Les Prophéties more than 450 years ago and his fans claim to have seen them come true over the years.

They say he accurately predicted the rise of Adolf Hitler, the shooting of President John F. Kennedy, the start of the corona epidemic and even the cost of living crisis of 2022. One of his predictions for 2024 concerns, according to expert interpretation, King Charles II 75, when he predicts that the king will retire from the royal throne after inheriting the crown from his mother, Elizabeth II in September 2022.

In the prediction, he indicates the "king of the islands" who is "forced out".

Although there is no reference to a specific royal figure in his writings, experts believe it may be King Charles who is about to step down.

In Nostradamus' books it is written: "The king of the islands was expelled by force... replaced by one who would not have the mark of a king."

Expert Mario Reading, analyst and author of the book "The Prophecies of Nostradamus", believes that Nostradamus described in his writings that the king was expected to resign and that it would not be his son Prince William who would take his place but a man who "had no sign of a king", such as, for example, Prince Harry?

What else did Nostradamus predict for 2024?

Nostradamus predicts a number of gloomy predictions for us this year, such as large floods that will hit parts of the world and lead to great famine, a violent international conflict (it is possible that he refers to the growing conflict in Asia between China and India and NATO countries, with which a violent military conflict or even an all-out war may develop and it is possible that he refers to the rising violence between the US and Iran and its affiliates) and also predicts the death of Pope Francis, the leader of the Catholic Church.

Before you panic, it is important to read the fine print even in fortune tellers' predictions.

So it's true, one can attribute Nostradamus's words to King Charles, and if indeed he meant him, he predicted his retirement this year, but he later stated the reason for his retirement - and it was not his illness.

According to him, King Charles will step down due to the ongoing attacks on him and his second wife, Queen Camilla.

Reading claimed in his book: "He pointed out that Queen Elizabeth II will die around 2022, at the age of 96, 5 years less than her mother's lifetime. Prince Charles will be 74 years old in 2022, when he ascends the throne, but the resentment that exists towards him from a certain part of the British population , following his divorce from Diana, Princess of Wales, still exists. The pressure on him is so great, and his age is so against him, that Charles agrees to resign in favor of his son."

Reading added: "The man who will replace him never expected to be king. Does this mean that Prince William, who is expected to succeed his father, is no longer in the picture? Will Prince Harry, in a default process, become king in his place? That will make him King Henry IX, aged just 38 ".

Another thing to take into account here is that for the time being Charles will indeed stop performing his public duties - but will continue in his constitutional role as the King of Great Britain.

The palace said that he "remains positive about the treatment and expects to return to fulfilling his public duty as soon as possible."

If we trust their words and the chances of survival with bladder cancer, there will be no retirement here.

The modern Nostradamus also "knew" and warned the king about the prostate

The Brazilian fortune teller Athos Salome was nicknamed the "modern Nostradamus" and probably for good reason, because he also predicted blackness for King Charles long before we saw it.

Furthermore, contrary to the source, he noted and even warned the king about health problems that he is expected to suffer this year.

Earlier this year Athos Salome, who allegedly also predicted the death of Queen Elizabeth II and the Corona epidemic, urged King Charles to check himself and he knew exactly where.

He said in an interview with DailyStar: "The king needs to be careful when it comes to his urinary system, as well as complications related to the prostate and genitals. My fears turned out to be correct when the king was recently hospitalized due to prostate problems."

According to him already at his coronation as the king of Britain, he warned the king to increase his health care.

He said then: "It is important to take care of these things now if you want to reign in peace. The countdown has begun. We will soon find out if he will remain in power between 2024 and 2025."

If he was indeed right in this prediction, it is worth paying attention to his other predictions.

He too, like the original Nostradamus, predicts a chain of natural disasters, from earthquakes to floods, that will bring destruction around the world.

According to him, one should also expect increased volcanic and seismic activity in the ring of fire that surrounds the Pacific Ocean - especially the Indonesian island of Java, as well as the coastal strip that stretches from northern California, USA to southern British Columbia in Canada. He predicts an increase in the intensity of hurricanes and cyclones in areas such as the Southeast Asia, including the Philippines and Thailand. In addition, it identifies high-risk areas for storms such as the Gulf of Mexico and Florida in the United States while emphasizing the importance of being well prepared to deal with these emerging trends. Looking further into the future, Athos warns Amsterdam in the Netherlands, New York in the USA and Tokyo in Japan against natural disasters: "They must be prepared to ensure a future in which the earth will not be completely swallowed by water."

Not only the Nostradamus "knew"

Nicholas Ojola, one of Britain's most famous callers, also allegedly predicted the difficult news King Charles received.

In the forecast he shared at the beginning of 2023, he wrote: "I think King Charles will have health problems. Maybe it has to do with his heart or blood circulation."

Remember the Asparagus Reader, Jemima Packington, who predicted fortunes by throwing asparagus in the air?

Yes, there is such a thing.

In any case, she predicted in early 2023 that King Charles III would hand over a significant portion of his duties to Prince William.

She said at the time: "The asparagus hints that King Charles will take a step back, due to his age, and make William the crown prince. Prince William will take over many of the king's duties and I predict that will happen soon, in the next 12 months."

It did not state that the reason for his retirement was illness.

Of course, all the predictions mentioned here should be taken with great skepticism because, due to the king's age, it is expected that health problems or retirement may be on the agenda.

It's a bit like predicting that the sun will rise tomorrow.
