Opening of the Adidas Arena: we visited the new Olympic “cauldron” in the north of Paris

Highlights: Adidas Arena is the only site built intramural for the Paris 2024 Games. The 9,000-seat hall, as part of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, has been completed. The Arena is a few days away from the inaugural match of its new resident club, Paris Basketball. The square, named Alice-Milliat in homage to this pioneer of women's sport, is preparing to welcome up to 10,000 people along Boulevard Ney. The green esplanade, through which local residents will be able to walk or cycle as soon as the site opens, leads to the room.

    Brand new, the equipment, stamped with the name of the German brand Adidas, can be admired in the heart of the Porte de la Chapelle (18th century).

    The construction of this 9,000-seat hall, as part of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (JOP) this summer, has been completed, and its inauguration is imminent.
