The students of "Atid" Technological High School in Kiryat Motzkin, together with the school's faculty, created an educational, exciting and special monument to mark the Shabbat events in October.

The goal: to commemorate the victims of the massacre in the south, to raise awareness of the abductees who are still in captivity in Gaza, and also to integrate the message of the revival of the Jewish people - a beacon of resurrection.

"We named the memorial "Takuma", which for us symbolizes the resurgence of the Jewish people after wars and disasters and also refers to the Takuma area, the new name of the surrounding settlements area," said the director of Atid Kiryat Motzkin Technological High School, Ehud Ben Gera.

According to him, "the Israeli flag is part of the monument, with the colors blue and white expressing the great hope and mutual guarantee of the residents of the State of Israel."

The construction of the monument is part of many volunteering activities of the students for the evacuees, the soldiers and families, aid to agriculture and more.

The monument, which will serve as a central focal point for ceremonies at the school, is located in a central place in the school and is illuminated even at night, so that it can be seen through the fence, in the public space.
