Will the City of Paris end up selling the Parc des Princes to Paris Saint-Germain?
For more than a year now, the debate has raged between the two parties.
The club, tenant of the enclosure, wishes to acquire it to continue its development.
The City, once open to the idea, closed the discussions during an unexpected exit by the mayor (PS), Anne Hidalgo, in January 2023.

Since then, no more exchanges between the two parties.
And it is not the vote which is looming this Tuesday, February 5 in the Council of Paris which should reconnect their links.
Anne Hidalgo's team will indeed defend a wish reaffirming the belonging of the Parc des Princes to Parisian heritage.
“The wish of the owner of PSG to acquire the stadium cannot prevail over the desire for this legendary venue to remain in the heritage of Parisians,” indicates the text that the executive will submit to Paris advisors.
