The Parc des Princes “in the heritage of Parisians”: elected officials called to refuse the sale of the stadium to PSG

In a wish submitted this Tuesday to the Paris Council, the City of Paris reaffirms its desire to keep the Parc des Princes in its fold.

For more than a year now, the debate has raged between the two parties.

The club, tenant of the enclosure, wishes to acquire it to continue its development.

Anne Hidalgo's team will indeed defend a wish reaffirming the belonging of the Parc des Princes to Parisian heritage.

“The wish of the owner of PSG to acquire the stadium cannot prevail over the desire for this legendary venue to remain in the heritage of Parisians,” indicates the text that the executive will submit to Paris advisors.
