VTC, business delivery people, movers... The police prefect unveiled this Tuesday new categories of beneficiaries authorized to access


Moving trucks, VTCs, refrigerated utility vehicles loaded with foodstuffs or even vans providing aid to the homeless will finally be able to circulate, during the Paris 2024 Olympics, in the red zones prohibited to motorized vehicles.

In an interview given this Tuesday, February 6 to AFP, the Paris police prefect, Laurent Nuñez, revealed a list of new beneficiaries in terms of exemptions to enter, while driving, the security perimeters around the Olympic sites .

These were revealed at the end of November by Parisien-Aujourd'hui-en-France.

Beforehand, all those concerned will have to register on an online platform and provide the necessary supporting documents to obtain a compulsory pass which should take the form of a QR code.
