The unprecedented attacks by the Palestinian Islamist movement in Israel have led to the deaths of more than 1,160 people, the majority civilians, according to an AFP count based on official Israeli data.
Forty-two of these victims had French nationality.
The delegation from La France insoumise, which will attend the ceremony at Les Invalides, will be composed of Manuel Bompard, national coordinator of the movement, Caroline Fiat, vice-president of the Assembly, Éric Coquerel, president of the Finance committee and Mathilde Panot herself.

Regarding the situation in Gaza,
"if in the current month nothing is done, the genocidal risk (of the Palestinians) will become a reality which will no longer be debatable"
