Tribute to the victims of Hamas: “Who is LFI kidding?”

2024-02-06T15:21:05.956Z

Highlights: Gilles Goldnadel: "We cannot prevent the Insoumise from refusing to view Hamas as a terrorist movement" "We could not prevent many deputies from declaring that Israeli athletes should not march at the next Olympic Games" "I see in it the mark of its Islamo-leftism, which considers the Muslim Arab to be a member of a racialized people and therefore a victim" "It will have legitimized this Islamist anti-Semitism of the most natural will of the French people"

FIGAROVOX/CHRONIQUE - Lawyer Gilles-William Goldnadel, who has just published his “War Diary” (Fayard) criticizes the decision of certain members of La France insoumise to participate in the tribute to the French victims of the attacks of October 7, despite the opposition of several families.

Gilles-William Goldnadel is a lawyer and essayist.

Every week, he deciphers the news for FigaroVox.

He has just published

War Journal.

It is the West that is being assassinated

(Fayard).

We are a free and democratic country.

The La France Insoumise party is represented in the National Assembly.

We cannot prevent the Insoumis from refusing to view Hamas as a terrorist movement, even though it is classified as such by all democratic countries, including France.

We cannot prevent its parliamentarians, elected members of the Parliament of the Republic, from going to a Republican ceremony paying tribute to the victims of terrorism.

We could not prevent Danielle Obono, MP for France Insoumise, from welcoming as a hero to Paris, along with her colleague Danielle Simonnet, the Labor Party Jeremy Corbyn, treated as a pariah by his party because of anti-Semitism and support for Hamas.

We could not prevent the same Danielle Obono from describing Hamas, at the microphone of Sud Radio, as a resistance movement.

We could not prevent David Guiraud, deputy of France Insoumise, from declaring in Tunis that it was not Hamas which had beheaded or put babies in an oven, but Israel.

We could not prevent Thomas Portes, MP for France Insoumise, from declaring that Israeli athletes should not march at the next Olympic Games in Paris, even though the Israeli delegation had been the target of Palestinian terrorists during the Munich Olympics. , in 1972.

We could not prevent many deputies of France Insoumise from welcoming as a hero to Roissy a member of the PFLP party (Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine), also considered a terrorist by France and condemned by Israeli justice after having confessed to having attempted to assassinate a rabbi.

We could not prevent Ersilia Soudais, deputy of La France Insoumise, from going with several of her colleagues to a Parisian police station to express their solidarity with an official of the PFLP who participated in the pogrom of October 7, after the minister of the Interior ordered his expulsion.

If we cannot legally prevent this ultimate and cynical hypocrisy, I suggest turning our backs on the hypocrites.

Gilles-William Goldnadel

We could not prevent the leader of their party, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, from holding the chief rabbi of England responsible for the electoral defeat of his friend Jeremy Corbyn.

This same Jean-Luc Mélenchon who affirmed that the Jewish people were responsible for the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

I could go on for a long time listing the examples which show how an extreme left party, represented in the National Assembly, was able to show its notable weakness if not its connivance with terrorist groups hostile to Jews.

And how the behavior of many of its members will have reconnected with the most traditional anti-Jewish discourse, held yesterday by the extreme right.

Personally, I reject the idea that this is just electoral baseness.

I see in it the mark of its Islamo-leftism, which, in its last wokist state, considers the Muslim Arab to be a member of a racialized people and therefore a victim.

The Jew is no longer considered an eternal victim but a privileged white person.

What's more, he is a settler on Palestinian land.

Therefore, any violence against the second by the first is a sanctified act of resistance whatever the inevitable consequences.

The attitude of France Insoumise will not only have attacked the most basic morality or the most natural feeling of compassion.

It will have legitimized this Islamist anti-Semitism of the suburbs which will have, on several occasions, massacred French Jews.

It is within the framework of this benevolence of a French political party for anti-Semitic terrorism in Israel that an IFOP survey showed that 45% of the French Muslim population considered resisting a terrorist movement which rapes women and decapitates the children.

To aggravate the ambient climate, the President of the Republic, undoubtedly frightened by the law of numbers and burned by the recent and violent riots, believed he had to justify his absence from the very wise demonstration against anti-Semitism by his desire to protect the unity of the country and not to offend the Muslim community...

In a belated effort to rebalance, he scheduled for February 7 a tribute to the French victims of the October 7 massacre.

And now the deputies of the Insoumis party, against the wishes expressed by many parents of victims, intend to impose their offensive presence at the ceremony...

A bit like the last spit on the graves.

And if we cannot legally prevent this ultimate and cynical hypocrisy, I suggest turning our backs on the hypocrites.
