This put a 50-year-old truck driver in an awkward position on Monday (February 5).
As the Bamberger-Land police report, he was traveling in Waizendorf near Stegaurach in the Bamberg district when he took a wrong turn and wanted to turn around.
Truck destroys wooden facade - stable but not in danger of collapsing
During the turning maneuver, he drove the large truck onto a slope and started rolling.
Because the ground was soggy and muddy, the 50-year-old driver was no longer able to stop his truck and crashed into the cowshed at the foot of the slope.
The vehicle crashed through the wooden facade and only then came to a stop.
Photos show how the outer wall of the stable is completely destroyed.
However, according to police reports, it is not in danger of collapsing.

After crash: truck driver slightly injured, cows unharmed
Nevertheless, according to information from the police, the material damage amounts to around 80,000 euros to the stable and 20,000 euros to the truck. The driver dislocated his shoulder in the crash and had to go to hospital.
He is facing a fine for careless driving.
And although there were even cows in the stable at the time, fortunately none of the animals were injured.
