Will tickets be snapped up like last year?
In just ten days, half of the tickets for the 4th edition of the RTL 2 Essonne en scène festival were sold, a record.
With headliners like Juliette Armanet, Shaka Ponk and -M-, the organizers had hit hard.
They continue their momentum with the announcement, this Wednesday, from the Parisian studios of the M 6 group, of the programming for the 5th edition of this musical event.
Étienne Daho, Mika, Hoshi, Matmatah, Kyo, Santa and Clara Ysé will meet the public on the stage of the Chamarande estate on August 30 and 31.
The ticket office opens this Thursday morning from 10 a.m.
“We wanted to continue because the public responded last year with 17,000 visitors, and a festival which was sold out 15 days before the event,” confides François Durovray, president (LR) of the departmental council.
We are happy to once again organize a popular and French-speaking festival within the 90 ha of the Chamarande estate.

Gérard Pont, from Francofolies de La Rochelle and Morgane production, announces: “We are showing even more ambition than last year.

Perhaps one day, the ambition will be to reach 100,000 spectators.

An objective that François Durovray does not deny, even if he specifies that the evolution of the festival must be done “little by little”.
“We can already increase the gauge a little with the opening of an additional car park with 3,000 spaces obtained thanks to a local farmer.
It is essential to offer the best reception and security conditions for the public and the inhabitants of the region.

It has always been important for us to meet the public, and we found in Chamarande a very welcoming family audience.

On social networks, Internet users already seem very impatient.
Some had even guessed a few names, like Kyo who is celebrating his 20th career or Mika, who released a 6th album at the end of 2023.
“It’s a relief to know that the festival is being maintained,” rejoices Vincent, an Essonnian who has already attended three editions.
As the departmental council had announced the possibility of suspending it due to budgetary problems, I feared the worst.
For once, we suburbanites have a nice event near us.

49 euros for one evening (39 euros for people with disabilities, students and under 18s);
