King Charles III
suffers from cancer.
Now his cousin, Crown Prince Alexander of Serbia, speaks out and encourages the monarch.
He reveals his own battle against the disease.
Belgrade – There is currently great concern in Buckingham Palace and among the British people about King Charles III.

The British monarch was diagnosed with cancer after undergoing treatment for an enlarged prostate.
Charles doesn't just receive a lot of support from the public.
His cousin Alexander of Serbia (78) also supports this with encouraging words.
In an emotional message from February 6th, which was available to

, he spoke about his own cancer.

“Deeply affected by the illness that has unfortunately struck my dear cousin and friend, HM King Charles III, and moved by his courage in sharing his personal state of health with his people despite the illness, I send the following message of support, but also of understanding and compassion,” Alexander of Serbia begins his words to King Charles.
At the same time, the Crown Prince gains courage to talk about his own illness.
“I can say it now because I only recently beat cancer,” Alexander of Serbia continued.
However, unlike his cousin, he had not dared to inform the public about his health.
“I have avoided talking about it as it is a personal matter that only affects me and my family, but King Charles' openness has moved and encouraged me to talk about it too.”

Alexander of Serbia knows all too well what King Charles is going through.
He himself was diagnosed with early-stage prostate cancer in December last year.
A shock for the 78-year-old.
“At that moment I was horrified.
But I wasn't alone.
"I'm not just talking about my family and friends who have supported me, which means so much that words can't put it into words, but also about all the other people who are fighting this disease," he continued.
The crown prince trusted the doctors and agreed to an operation.
His doctor soon informed him that “everything was fine.”
He now wants to encourage Charles with his own story.
“And finally, I hope with all my heart that His Majesty the King, my dear friend and cousin, will also triumph,” Alexander of Serbia concluded his wishes for recovery.
