David Kammenos
has a unique charisma which radiates in the mini-series
All this I will give to you
, the first two episodes of which are broadcast this Wednesday evening on France 2. He plays Manuel, an elegant homosexual writer who learns of the death of his husband Aymeric in a car accident in Provence.
Arriving there, he discovers that the man he loved had a double life and an in-laws who will tear each other apart over his inheritance.
“
Everyone knows nothing about this story!
», says David Kammenos.
“
From the start, with Aymeric's death, everything explodes and everyone falls into an abyss.
It interested me to talk about grief in this way because some people cling to what it was and others, like me, want to discover more...

TV tonight: our selection of the day
This excellent quality mini-series has all the codes of the dramatic family saga and its heavy trail of secrets.
But
All That I'll Give You
is also a thrilling thriller with an investigation that will lead Manuel (David Kammenos) on the path to the truth.
His meeting with Richard (Bruno Solo), a snarky, unsympathetic and homophobic cop, will forge an improbable duo that works wonderfully: “The
duo with Bruno Solo is very tense at the start because they are not from the same world, but it works despite these huge differences.
With Bruno, it happened alone between us
,” explains David Kammenos.
The actor, who plays a gay writer, also says he is “surprised” that this homosexuality is not at the center of the series: “
It is not at all the subject of the series.
Marriage for all has been ten years now and what surprised me is that it is no longer a subject.
It's natural and it shows that we are moving forward because France is still lagging behind in the representation of homosexual couples.

David Kammenos also saw his international career take off.
On February 14 on Apple TV+, he will star in the series
The New Look
which traces the rise of fashion designer Christian Dior alongside Ben Mendelsohn, Juliette Binoche, John Malkovich and Glenn Close.
“
It’s a proposal that fell from the sky!
», says the actor.
“
I made a video from home and it worked.
I play Christian Dior's lover.
When I arrived on set I was terrified but the actors were delightful and brilliant.
We all took a selfie with Glenn Close!

A few days earlier, on March 6,
Supersex
, the event series - and already controversial - retracing the life of porn actor Rocco Siffredi, will be launched on Netflix.
David Kammenos plays a Corsican mafioso who meets the Italian star in Paris: “
What I liked in
Supersex
is the character of Rocco who is both lunar with strange thoughts and also very human behavior.
A bit like Jean-Claude Van Damme
,” explains the actor.
With its numerous sex scenes and the advent of the #MeToo movement, how does filming take place to avoid any risk of things getting out of hand?
“
It’s certain that #MeToo has changed things a lot
,” admits David Kammenos.
“
On
Supersex
, there were “intimacy advisors” who were there for sex scenes, intimate scenes or when there was nudity.
For a kiss, they call us the day before to ask us if we still agree to do it.
We are asked for our agreement even if it is written in the script and they explain to us exactly how it will happen.
It's very regulated now.

“TF1 asked me to do “Dancing with the Stars”, but I refused”
David Kammenos
An excellent actor, but also a dancer and singer, David Kammenos admits to having refused to join the cast of “Dancing with the Stars” a few years ago: “
It’s not a desire.
I like to play but in a game setting which is the film set.
I know how to dance and I was offered “DALS” but I said no because I had work at the time.
I would say the same thing for “Mask Singer” by the way.
I know how to sing but it won’t be for the moment... (Laughs)
.”
Finally, the actor admits that TF1 still changed his career thanks to the series
Falco
, but not necessarily in the way we imagine: “
I was often offered bad guy roles, serial killers, things that were quite dark
,” he explains.
“
And one day, I stopped being Afghan, Lebanese or Algerian because I always had to explain my appearance.
TF1 decided to call me Maxime in “Falco” and I became a cop and a Frenchman!
This is due to the evolution of society
,” says David Kammenos.
