During a speed check on the B472 near Obersöchering: Police recorded 43 violations - a driver was speeding at 186 km/h
A BMW driver from Weilheim was the “sad leader” with a measured speed of 141 km/h in the direction of Schongau, the traffic police said.
“Unfortunately, a Mercedes driver from Garmisch was able to top this”: The man was speeding in the direction of Bad Tölz at an impressive 186 km/h.
He now has to expect a hefty fine of at least 700 euros, two points in Flensburg and a three-month driving ban.
In this context, the traffic police would like to point out once again that “driving too fast is still one of the main causes of accidents”.
Accidents involving excessive speed often have serious consequences.
