A podiatrist from Poing obtained a fake vaccination certificate in 2021 and presented it to her employer.

The woman now had to answer for this in court.

Ebersberg - So that she no longer has to be tested, a woman from Poinger presents her employer with a fake vaccination certificate.

That was during the corona pandemic.

Now the medical podiatrist had to answer for this before the Ebersberg district court.

To avoid compulsory testing: Poingerin obtains a fake vaccination certificate

In order to avoid the requirement to test for unvaccinated people, the woman is said to have obtained a digital vaccination certificate for around 250 euros at the end of 2021 and downloaded it onto her cell phone.

She showed this as proof of vaccination in the practice where she works - without having been immunized against Covid-19.

The public prosecutor therefore accused the woman of using an “incorrect vaccination certificate”.

And on top of that, money laundering, an offense that can occur in illegal purchasing transactions.

As in this case, with the fake vaccination certificate, which, according to the statement of a police officer who was called as a witness, the defendant had obtained from a gang of counterfeiters in Munich.

The defendant is said to have expressed opposition to vaccinations among colleagues

The police found a vaccination certificate issued personally to the defendant on the fraudsters' computers.

“We found tons of data and orders from which we were able to draw conclusions about the customers,” reported the police officer.

This is how people became aware of the Poingerin.

During a subsequent house search, no fake certificate was found on the defendant's cell phone - but a yellow vaccination certificate was found, in which no proof of immunization against the Covid-19 virus was noted.

Subsequent investigations at the employer revealed that the woman still presented a certificate.

And this despite the fact that the defendant is said to have often made negative comments to her colleagues about vaccinations.

Prosecutor accuses woman of “criminal energy”

The woman from Poinger showed no insight in court.

The woman kept looking with a mocking smile at her lawyer, Dubravko Mandic, who also defends right-wing scene leaders such as the Austrian right-wing extremist Martin Sellner and the Bavarian AfD MP Daniel Halemba, who is being investigated for sedition.

The woman from Poinger did not want to testify herself.

The evidence was still sufficient for the public prosecutor.

He pleaded guilty.

Given “the number of deaths we had to contend with in this country,” the prosecutor accused the woman of “criminal energy” in her dealings with her patients.

He demanded a fine of 8,000 euros as a punishment - to the defense's incomprehension.

Judge sentences defendant to fine - to the annoyance of their prominent AfD lawyer

Lawyer Mandic rejected the allegations, after all it was unclear who and where his client got the fake vaccination certificate from and whether she paid anything for it.

“The public prosecutor gives the impression that he is stuck in the old propaganda,” said the former AfD official, who has already been convicted of grievous bodily harm.

And he turned out to be like-minded with his client: Citizens were ultimately “forced” to get vaccinated during the pandemic.

Judge Benjamin Lenhart did not get involved in political skirmishes, but ultimately sentenced the woman from Poinger to a fine of 1,200 euros for using a fake vaccination certificate.

He saw the accusation of money laundering as unproven.

The verdict is not yet legally binding.
