The police emergency call 110 was disrupted in large parts of Saxony-Anhalt on Wednesday afternoon.
For almost two hours there was official information about impairments via the Katwarn warning and information system.
At around 3 p.m., the Magdeburg police announced that the problem had been resolved and that the emergency number 110 was fully accessible again.
Magdeburg - According to the information, larger parts of the south and west of Saxony-Anhalt were affected by the disruption.
Among other things, the impairments affected the independent cities of Magdeburg and Halle, as well as the Salzlandkreis, Bördekreis, Harz district, Mansfeld-Südharz, Saalekreis and the Burgenlandkreis.
A cause was initially unknown.
