Federica Brignone said yes to Amadeus' invitation also to promote her sport in the run-up to the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympics
and was an exceptional guest at the first Sanremo evening, first skier at the festival.
At the end of his speech there was a greeting for Sofia Goggia, whose season was stopped by a serious injury in recent days which however was canceled due to a matter - explained the athlete's manager, Giulia Mancini - linked only to the timing of ladder. Brignone had however sent his message of solidarity to his colleague the day before.
There wasn't even time to promote the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympics.
"It was all very exciting and fast, just as happens in the race to respect the Sanremo television times. It was however an excellent opportunity and great visibility for me and for skiing. I enjoyed announcing Loredana Bertè, a legend and a fantastic woman!".
Federica Brignone says this the day after her experience on stage at the Sanremo Festival.
"I thank Amadeus for the invitation and for letting me live this new experience, now I'm going back to my world to do what I love, racing", adds the skier, who left at dawn for Nice airport for the next World Cup race on Saturday in Andorra.
