Deep sweeps over Germany: Where snow is possible
In low mountain ranges, however, the rain could come down as snow.
Snow is even possible at lower altitudes from the Sauerland and northern Hesse via the Thuringian Forest to the Ore Mountains.
“However, a sustainable snow cover is not to be expected,” emphasized DWD meteorologist Sabine Krüger on Tuesday (February 6th).
Nevertheless, the temperatures remain comparatively mild.
In the north and in the middle, the maximum temperatures on Wednesday will be between four and nine degrees.
In the south and southwest, however, it will be slightly warmer.
