After the failure of the Congress session that sought approval in particular of the articles of the Omnibus Law and ended up going back to square one, with the project being sent back to committee, the
Minister of Economy
took a reasonable amount of time and, in On Tuesday night, he gave his opinion on social media, with a
message of calm
that seemed directed at the markets.
"The vote or not on the law
is not going to change the economic course
,"
said Luis Caputo
on his networks.
"
Let's not dramatize what happened today
," added the official who, together with his cabinet counterpart Guillermo Francos, from the Interior, was in charge of monitoring the future of the legislative debate that ended up getting bogged down in the Chamber of Deputies.
Caputo's message was in tune - and even more reflective - than that issued by President Javier Milei himself from Israel - where he is on an official tour - and not to mention, that of the ruling party La Libertad Avanza, which came out with caps of tip against the dialoguist governors of Peronism and Together for Change.
Almost at the same time,
Patricia Bullrich
also tweeted, in a very different tone than Caputo.
"They voted for inflation to continue
," said the Minister of Security and colleague of the economist in Milei's cabinet.
