The model for the STR project: A special camera evaluates the situation on site and sends the data in real time.

The idea is quite simple, but complex to implement: 60 sensitive special cameras are installed at 40 locations in the district, which evaluate traffic events in the area and send them to the data platform.
Processed there, users can access the current traffic situation and the occupancy of the most important parking spaces using a browser or app.
And that's not all: To relieve the burden, the system suggests similar destinations in the area that are less polluted.
This is supposed to provide equalization.
There should also be forecasts in advance.

New app is intended to direct crowds of visitors in the Miesbach district
In addition to the sensor technology, which, according to Stefan Schwarz, Managing Director of Bernard Technologies, scans traffic flow and parking space utilization from light poles and reduces it to anonymous core data, existing sources such as weather and tourism data are also used.

In order to process all of this, an AI module was programmed that passes on the results in real time - to the new channel live.tegernsee-schliersee.de and to existing channels such as “BayernCloud Tourismus” and “Mobilithek”.
The product cost 664,000 euros including the work of ATS/REO.
In addition, there is 70 percent funding from the Free State.
