Oti Mabuse gave birth to her daughter with complications.

London – Oti Mabuse (33) and her husband Marius became parents to a little daughter last autumn.
At Christmas they announced the good news.
There is a dramatic reason why the young family took so much time to announce the birth, because mother and child first had to recover from the difficult birth.
The baby was even in the hospital for six weeks.

In the podcast “Happy Mum Happy Baby”, Oti Mabuse revealed how traumatizing the birth of her daughter and the time afterwards really were.
The little one was born in October, but was born prematurely and had to stay in the hospital for another six weeks.
Oti also had blood poisoning, which is why her daughter wasn't completely healthy at the beginning.
In the podcast, the dancer recalls: "I think we couldn't hold her for a week because she was still in an incubator with wires and jaundice.
And she had infections because I had sepsis.” Luckily, the new parents had family support.
The mother of Oti and Motsi Mabuse (42) also immediately traveled to London, her daughter's adopted home.
“Marius and I just wanted to be with her mentally, physically and emotionally.
My mother stopped everything and flew straight to England just to be with us.”

Meanwhile, Oti Mabuse's daughter is apparently doing well, because the little family posted cute photos of the three of them under the Christmas tree at Christmas.
Oti wrote on Instagram about a picture in the same pajamas, which also shows the dog Leo and the baby: “Merry Christmas.
We wish you all a happy holiday and very special memories with your loved ones.”
The little one's aunt, "Let's Dance" star Motsi Mabuse, is also very happy about the addition to the family.
She posted a picture with her niece and her husband and wrote: “Merry Christmas.
