The criminal Muhammad Taha Dhamsha, 38 years old from Kfar Kana, was shot to death today (Wednesday) outside his home in the city.
As a result of the shooting, a person was injured and was taken to the Furia Medical Center for medical treatment, where he was pronounced dead.
Dhamsha is known to the police as a person who was involved in the trade in weapons and with a history of violent crimes.
The Israel Police opened an investigation, when many police officers were rushed to the scene of the incident, they began searching for the suspects in the shooting and began investigating the circumstances of the case.
The background to the incident is allegedly a conflict between criminals.
The hospital spokeswoman said that Dhamsha was killed by the gunfire before he arrived at the hospital.
"A 35-year-old gunshot wound from Kfar Kana was brought by MDA to the North Medical Center (Fouriya) with no pulse and no breathing," it said. "Despite the resuscitation efforts, the medical teams had to pronounce him dead." Lol said: "We were at the MDA station when they brought us the wounded man who suffered a penetrating injury and was unconscious.
We immediately put him in the ambulance and evacuated him to the hospital in critical condition."
The police reported that they had opened an investigation into the incident.
"As a result of the shooting, the local resident was mortally wounded and was referred for medical treatment at the North Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead," it said.
"The police officers were rushed to the scene of the incident, began searching for the suspects in the shooting and began investigating the circumstances of the incident, as the background to the incident is allegedly a conflict between criminals."
