Under the direction of Brigitte Knauer, the young troupe “Futura” from the Markt Schwaben Theater Association is staging the crime comedy “Mörderstund ist unhealthy” by Christine Steinwasser.
Market Swabia - The Emperors Nero and Napoleon, Lucrezia Borgia, Agatha Christie and, not to forget, Attila the Hun King sit harmoniously on the stage.

The director of Futura, Brigitte Knauer, is also focusing on a crime comedy in the second season.

The fourth performance on Sunday afternoon – a test balloon, by the way, as she says – was surprisingly well attended with three quarters of the seats.
“This year too, everyone from the troupe who wanted to play can take part.
However, for the piece we needed three more actors, which I was able to cast with “adults” from the club.
“There is also a newcomer who took part as an extra at the pond for the first time and a newcomer at least in the theater hall,” says the director.
Brigitte Knauer is very pleased that all Futura members took part in the Weiherspiele last summer.
“We revived FUTURA at the right time in 2023 and thus secured young talent for all types of productions by the theater association for the next few years.” Futura has also grown: two players have outgrown Christa Hermannsgabner’s KiTh group , two more came through word of mouth.
“There are 15 actors on stage in this production.
It's challenging to get everyone together for rehearsals - especially since everyone only does it in their free time.
For example, four of them are graduating from high school this year.
But where there is a will, there is a way!

When she and a management consultant want to completely overhaul the castle and throw out both staff and patients, alarm bells ring among the castle residents.
While the patients with their multiple personalities (Nero, Napoleon, Attila, Lucrezia Borgia, Agatha Christie) have diverse and unusual suggestions for rescue, the baron resorts to the “classic” solution to this problem: the gardener.
A gardener was also hired on behalf of the Baroness, albeit for completely different purposes.
It's not just the inspector and her assistant who soon lose track of things.
