Cabaret artist Stefan Kröll is giving a Krügel speech in Bruck for the first time this year.
In the Tagblatt interview he talks about the preparation for his Salvator appearance.
Fürstenfeldbruck – The people of Bruck know the cabaret artist Stefan Kröll from the Paulaner Solo+.
At the Fürstenfelder Salvator you will see him in a different role: the 53-year-old will give the Krügl speech for the first time.
And despite stage experience, he is a little nervous before his performance, as he reveals in the Tagblatt interview.
Mr. Kröll, how excited are you before your premiere as a Krügl speaker?
Yes, a little, but happily excited.
Because it's not like my program that you always play.
It's a big challenge, after all, you're being evaluated there.
That creates a special mood for me.
Do you have experience in strong beer speeches?
I've done a few speeches, but not a strong beer speech yet.
Is that why you cheated on others?
Of course I watched one or two strong beer speeches.
It's actually a good impulse to see how the professionals approach it.
But I've also seen things that I don't like so much, I don't do them.
I will not come across as a brother, because Brother Stephen, who I would then be, has been stoned as a martyr.
That doesn't fit with the first appearance at the strong beer festival.
Therefore I don't play a role, I'm Stefan Kröll.
Where do you get the information for the topics of the Krügl speech?

There is a lot written about Fürstenfeldbruck, in the town hall report, in the newspaper and on social media.
And of course I also have one or two informants.
And how would you characterize Fürstenfeldbruck?
I come from a rural background.
And Fürstenfeldbruck is not a city in the classic sense either, not so anonymous.
I would describe it as a big village, in a positive sense.
People know each other and there are still real Bruckers.
I have seen beautiful things, but also bad things, for example the savings bank.
But I immediately felt comfortable walking through Bruck.
And what can visitors expect at the Salvator?
It will be something different than what you are used to - just my way of giving a pitcher's speech.
I want to be entertained and well informed on topics.
It will be a balancing act between what people expect and what I want.
But not in gentle mode.
The strong beer festival
will take place in Fürstenfeld on February 17th from 8 p.m.
