The whole of England is in shock - because King Charles has announced his cancer diagnosis.
Now Prince William has spoken about the disease for the first time.
London - At first only a seemingly harmless prostate operation was reported - then the British Royal Palace suddenly announced that King Charles III.
(75) is suffering from cancer.
Further details about the serious illness are being kept under wraps to date.
It is not even known what type of cancer the monarch has.
His son, Prince William (41), was also asked about his health at an event.

“We really appreciate all the kind messages.
Thank you very much,” emphasized Prince William.
Apparently family circles are very happy about the support from England and all over the world.
Fans, politicians and many other public figures have already sent the king their best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Gala evening: Prince William was tense
The prince is said to have seemed tense at the event - but he was still more than friendly in accepting the guests' wishes for recovery.
Tom Cruise (61), one of the star guests of the evening, also wished King Charles all the best.
But the royal apparently didn't say much more about his sick father.
According to the guests present, he concentrated on the event despite the difficult situation.

But King Charles is not the only one who worries the 41-year-old.
His wife, Princess Kate (42), is also not doing particularly well at the moment.
She continues to recover from the effects of an operation about which not much is known publicly.
Despite Charles' cancer diagnosis, Kate is Prince William's top priority.
