The USA is once again in our sights.
The dream: A quick “destruction” of Russia’s arch-enemy.
Moscow – For Russian propagandists, the situation in the Ukraine war is clear.
According to them, Russia is strong enough to defeat both Ukraine and the entire West, while the Western countries are on the brink.
The thesis of a strong Russia and a weak West is repeatedly advocated on state television.
The latest example of this was provided by Kremlin propagandist Margarita Simonyan, head of the state broadcaster

Putin's propaganda machine on state TV: Simonyan believes “destruction” of the USA is possible
Simonyan, along with people like Vladimir Solovyov and Olga Skabajeva, is one of the best-known personalities who constantly spread absurd conspiracy theories, make threats and glorify Russian ruler Vladimir Putin on Russian state TV.
A new video from a program on Russian state television has now appeared on the short message service X (formerly Twitter).
“We are the only country in the world that can destroy the USA in just an hour,” Simonyan says in the recording from the broadcast.
Theoretically, Russia can do this and the USA is not able to “manage” it, Simonyan further emphasized.
The USA is the main supporter of Ukraine, which has been defending itself against Russia for two years.
The USA is also included on the list of so-called “unfriendly countries” in Russia.

With her threat, Simonyan was most likely referring to Russia's nuclear arsenal.
In particular, the former Russian president and current deputy chairman of the Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, repeatedly draws attention to Russia's nuclear weapons and threatens to use them if necessary.
Propagandists on Russian state TV often fantasize about missile attacks on Europe and the USA.
In 2022, for example, it was said that a rocket fired from Russia could land in Berlin in just 106 seconds.
In a separate statement, Simonyan appealed
to the US over the attack on a bakery in Russian-occupied Lysychansk in eastern Ukraine, according to state agency
Ria Novosti .
According to Russian reports, 28 people, including a child, were killed in the incident.
Moscow blames Kiev for a “terrorist attack” on the city.
“Why does the United States, once so Christian, deny the people who are there the search for joy, freedom and life?” she asked on state television, according to the agency.

Simonyan said the people there were killed by an American Himars missile supplied to Ukraine.
“It belongs to you, America, the Himars, who killed people who just wanted to eat rolls and drink coffee with their families,” said the propagandist, who spoke of a “monstrous tragedy.”
The latest threats in Russian state media are directed not only against the USA, but also against Germany.
Most recently, a program on state TV was about the destruction of Berlin.
The moderator Solovyov, known as “Putin’s voice,” dreamed of the “ruins of the Reichstag.”
