According to police, the woman was “found dead in a forest in Erlangen” on Tuesday afternoon, February 6th.

Erlangen - The Middle Franconia Police Headquarters has initiated an intensive search for a woman who has been missing since Saturday afternoon, January 27th, 2024.

Authorities are asking the public to help find the missing person.

The missing person went for a walk - and has since disappeared without a trace

The woman left her apartment in the west of Erlangen around 2 p.m. to go for a walk.

She hasn't returned since then.

Despite extensive searches carried out by the Erlangen City Police Department, the missing person has not yet been found.

The search extended to the Pegnitzgrund and was carried out with service dogs, police horses, drones and a police helicopter.
