A 30-year-old man was seriously injured a short time ago (Wednesday) in a car explosion on Zeev Brenda Street in Petah Tikva.
The MDA team that was called to the scene gave the injured man initial treatment and evacuated him, with multi-system injuries, to the city's Beilinson Hospital. The police said that the circumstances have not yet been clarified and have opened an investigation of the incident: "Police officers of the Petah Tikva station have opened an investigation into the circumstances of a vehicle on fire from which a driver was evacuated , whose identity is not yet known, in a difficult manner to the medical center."
Also, the fire and rescue barges said that it is 2 vehicles that are on fire: "Firefighters are carrying out extinguishing operations and searching for people trapped in the vehicles."

MDA paramedic Issachar Weiss, who was called to the scene, said: "We arrived at the scene with large forces.
We saw several burning vehicles and thick smoke, near one of the vehicles that was standing in the middle of the road lay a man about 30 years old unconscious and suffering from multi-system damage.
We immediately started primary medical treatment in the field.
And we evacuated him in an MDA intensive care vehicle to the hospital while continuing medical treatment when his condition is serious."
Shlomo Avidan, a medic from the Rescue Union who provided first aid at the scene, said: "When I arrived at the scene, I encountered a car driver who was suffering from burns on all parts of his body. After the initial aid we gave him at the scene of the incident, he was taken to Bilinson Hospital. Another vehicle caught fire due to the nature of the incident."
