There is a program change on ZDF on Thursday.
Unfortunately, “Bergdoktor” fans have to do without their beloved medical series because the channel is broadcasting something else during prime time.

Unfortunately not next Thursday (February 8, 2024).
The popular TV doctor Hans Sigl (54) has to give way to his ZDF home series for an entertainment show.
When will the feel-good series continue and can impatient “Bergdoktor” fans perhaps watch the postponed episode online in advance?
After the January cancellation: “Der Bergdoktor” has to give way again
It is not the first time that “Bergdoktor” fans have suffered from the ZDF program change.
This time too, the viewers have to be very strong: on February 8th, the popular TV doctors Hans Sigl and Mark Keller (58) will once again be deleted from the Thursday evening program.
On February 1st, the public broadcaster broadcast the fourth episode (“In the Shadow”) of the 17th season – fans now have to wait a little longer for the fifth episode (“Life Paths”).

Instead of “The Mountain Doctor” on February 8th at 8:15 p.m. it will be: Kölle Alaaf!
Just in time for Women's Carnival, ZDF broadcasts the entertainment show “Kölle Alaaf - The Girls' Session” - an important event for the station, which is why their Alpine series has to be pushed back by a week.

The first episode of the latest “Der Bergdoktor” season unfortunately only landed in second place in the ratings race on January 4th, 2024 – closely followed by “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?”, as

With a market share of 19.7 percent and an average of 5.52 million viewers among the total audience, the ZDF Alpine series only catapulted itself to second place in the rankings.
ZDF will show the next “Bergdoktor” episode a week later
But impatient fans don't have to miss out on their weekly “Bergdoktor” ration: the fifth and sixth episodes can be watched in advance in the ZDF media library.
The medical series will be shown regularly on linear television again from February 15th.

Incidentally, the station recently surprised with news that left series fans stunned: Andrea Gerhard (40) has to leave the “Bergdoktor” involuntarily.
On the other hand, the failure of the fifth episode is probably less dramatic for fans.
