The sounds of a cry for help that emanated from the ruins in the dense area of West Khan Yunis at the beginning of the week, attracted the attention of Col. Liron Batito - Brigadier General Givati.
The commander approached the area of ruins, under fire in the area, inside the neighborhood saturated with tunnels and terrorist apartments and noticed the source of the sound.
These were the voices of three Palestinian children crying for help.
When the children were identified, the Brigadier General and his PAK soldiers rescued the children and after giving them first aid, moved them to a shelter area under the care of the aid organizations.
The battle team of the Givati Brigade has been operating in western Khan Yunis for the past few weeks and is commanding the most complex advance of the ground maneuver.
Officers in Division 98 explained the complex event: "Hamas threatens civilians with weapons who will not leave their homes and has turned them into human shields in West Khan Yunis."
According to them, "We are prepared for this and are doing everything to motivate a population that Hamas is trying to hold by force and inhumanity."

The officers in the division also said: "The activity of the elite unit in the IDF in the tunnels of Sinwar and the other senior officials, causes the terrorists to come out and run to hiding places, to hide their weapons and any sign that betrays the very fact that they are active in Hamas or the Palestinian Islamic Jihad."
"We are getting there , they are located after an inspection and transferred to Israel for investigation.
We have significant successes.
The intelligence that Unit 504 brings from the investigations returns to us in the field and helps us find more important targets for destruction," they said.
