Highlights: From 9 February to 26 May Palazzo Merulana hosts a major retrospective on Antonio Donghi, entitled "The magic of silence" At Mudec from 10 February "Martin Parr. Short & Sweet", curated by Martin Parr, in collaboration with Magnum Photos: scheduled until 30 June. "Daniele Tamagni. Style is life" is scheduled at Palazzi Morando from 9 February. From 10 to 18 February the appointment with the international event of high antiques is renewed which inaugurates its 37th edition.

ROME - From 9 February to 26 May Palazzo Merulana hosts a major retrospective on Antonio Donghi, entitled "The magic of silence", curated by Fabio Benzi.

Among the major interpreters of Magical Realism in Italy, the artist has only been re-evaluated in recent years.

34 works are exhibited in Rome, some never before presented in public.

MILAN - At Mudec from 10 February "Martin Parr. Short & Sweet", curated by Martin Parr, in collaboration with Magnum Photos: scheduled until 30 June, the exhibition presents over 60 shots, selected by the author, together with installation elements and wall papers, to retrace Parr's long career through his best-known projects.

From 8 February to 23 March in the Building spaces "Post Scriptum", a solo exhibition by Gianluigi Colin, curated by Bruno Corà.

Along the way is a selection of around 40 unpublished works, created specifically for the occasion, including large paintings, videos and installations that reveal the author's versatility.

"Daniele Tamagni. Style is life" is scheduled at Palazzo Morando from 9 February to 1 April.

Curated by Aïda Muluneh and Chiara Bardelli Nonino, the exhibition, which presents a wide selection of reportages created over 7 years of the artist's production, is the first major retrospective of the Milanese photographer, who died prematurely in 2017 at the age of 42.


ABANO TERME - A selection of 100 photographs to tell the story of Italian and international cinema from the 1960s to today: it is the exhibition "Backstage. Mimmo Cattarinich and the magic of the stage photographer", curated by Dominique Lora.

Scheduled at the Villa Bassi Rathgeb Museum from 9 February to 16 June, the exhibition reveals cinema through the eye of a photographer always attentive to the diversity shown by the subjects, from bodily alterations to challenging attitudes.


SALERNO - At Palazzo Fruscione, from 9 to 18 February, the exhibition project by Sonia Vinaccia, entitled "Of kindness I am!".

Along the way, a series of works of varying dimensions narrate the return to ancient and gentle values, in the name of a civil society respectful of other humans/animals/environment.


LODI - at the Maria Cosway Foundation and at the Incoronata civic temple the exhibition "Religious love. Bergognone in Lodi", set up from 9 February to 14 April.

In the first location the work "Christ in mercy with angels and a kneeling monk" will be exhibited, a loan from the Cagnola art collection of Gazzada Schianno (Varese), while in the Civic Temple it will be possible to admire the four panels originally positioned in the altar greater,


MODENA - From 10 to 18 February the appointment with the international event of high antiques is renewed which inaugurates its 37th edition at ModenaFiere.

The Petra salon, with a new concept dedicated to outdoor design and landscape, and the third edition of Sculptura, a section with Italian masterpieces from the 13th to the 20th century, complement and complete Modenantiquaria.

120 galleries present, from Italy and abroad.
