The announcement of Tom Holland's next role came as a bit of a surprise to his fans.
Tuesday February 7, the British actor published on social networks the promotional video for the new production by director Jamie Lloyd,
Romeo and Juliet,
in which the last Peter Parker will play the famous lover.

A return after a break
In June 2023, the British actor announced that he was taking a break after filming the series
The Crowded Room
,
broadcast on Apple TV+.
Interviewed by

, he explained that he was deeply affected by his role, both in the series and on set:
“I felt certain emotions that I had never experienced before.
And on top of that, being a producer, dealing with the day-to-day issues that can arise on set, added an extra level of pressure.”
Seven months later, the 27-year-old actor is ready to return to the stage.
Away from the screens this time, he returned to his origins for a limited series of performances, spread over 12 weeks, starting in May.
On social networks, his fans joke about seeing the actress Zendaya, his partner in life, in the role of Juliette.
