The murder of Shani Bacher on Route 4 is solved/ Israel Police spokesmen
At the Haifa District Court today (Wednesday) the state attorney's office filed a serious indictment against Tamir Jumaa, for the murder of Shani Bachar.

The horrific murder took place on Route 4 in front of the offices of the Meta Asher Regional Council, on January 9, a month ago, shortly after 3:00 p.m., in front of passers-by.
A little earlier, Bacher left the gate of Kibbutz Sharmat where she worked, on her way north to her house, in her Honda car.
The indictment states that Jumaa ambushed Bacher outside the kibbutz starting around 1:00 p.m. and he waited for her to leave her workplace armed with a gun that was loaded with a cartridge and at least 12 bullets inside.
While driving, Bakr noticed that Jumaa was following her.
She still managed to call the 100 hotline of the Israel Police when she was frightened, said that he was chasing her in a Ford car and asked for assistance.
She continued talking to the operator while trying to escape from him, but minutes later, and before the police could respond to her call for help, he had already crashed into her on purpose.

According to the indictment, Jumea stopped the Ford vehicle about 35 meters from her, got out of his vehicle carrying his gun and ran in her direction.
The indictment states that he opened the front passenger door on the right, pulled out the gun, put his upper body into the Honda vehicle, and fired five shots at the two victims from a very short range.
So, he stood next to her car and tried to kill himself.
He pressed the barrel of the gun to his chin, fired one shot and collapsed.
MDA paramedics who were called to the scene performed two unsuccessful resuscitation attempts. She was rushed to the Galilee Medical Center when she was lifeless, and was pronounced dead there. Jumaa was treated by paramedics who were called to the scene, and was rushed to the Galilee Medical Center, where she was operated on and hospitalized in the intensive care unit under sedation and breathed. She met 35-year-old Tamir Jumaa from Kfar Sulam when the two served between 2010-2012 in mandatory service in the Israel Police.
In her family he always left the impression that he was still connected to the police.
The indictment shows that as part of their service, a relationship developed between them, until in June of last year, more than a decade later, Becher informed Jumaa of her desire to end the relationship.

Jumaa arrived at her workplace against her will in order to meet her;

According to the indictment, against this background, Tamir Jomaa decided and planned to shoot her and cause her death, and then shoot himself.

"Shani suffered harassment at the hands of the killer for years," said family members who spoke to Walla. "But in the last year even more so .

Tamir Jumaa is accused of aggravated murder and weapons offenses. At the hearing in court, the lawyers of the Bachar family, Adv. Muhammad Mola, the extension of his detention until the end of the legal proceedings against him.
The defense attorney, attorney Yosef Shelbi, is expected to request an adjournment to study the investigation file.
"Stunned and Broken"
The Becher family said after the indictment: "We are shocked and broken that Shani was taken from us by the vile murderer and impersonator in the prime of life with the spirit of youth still beating in her. Our lives have stopped since then and nothing will bring her back to us. We expect from the prosecutor's office that the murderer will receive the harshest punishment, And no less, to convey the message and deter people like him from committing the criminal act he did. We will attend all the hearings in order to remind the monster of his actions and so that the court will impose the maximum sentence on him."
