The Monza footballer, Alejandro Papu Gómez, has been inactive since last year as a result of a two-year suspension that he faces after failing an anti-doping test.
Far from giving up is the world champion with the Argentine National Team, who continues training firmer and stronger than ever to return to the field of play, something that will only happen in 2026.
In the last few hours, the midfielder who will turn 26 on February 15, made a striking post on his social networks, capturing the attention of different users.
The former Arsenal de Sarandí uploaded a series of images in which he is seen working very hard in a gym in Bergamo, Italy.
"Training hard" was the caption that Papu chose to accompany the publication.

But that is not all.
Because the former Atalanta also chose the song “Look at Me Now,” by Myke Towers, to post the post on his official Instagram account, where he has 6.4 million followers.
The song by the famous Puerto Rican singer has lyrics that can perfectly illustrate the moment that Papu is going through.
"I became king at birth, all these bastards like me want to be", "the only thing perfect is God's time" and "they want me to do badly, but this gets better", are some verses that the song relates.
The post in question reached 50 thousand likes and 343 comments almost a day after its publication.
The doping that has Papu's career in check
In October of last year, Papu Gómez tested positive in an anti-doping test and was suspended for two years.
The substance banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) was Terbutaline.
According to the footballer, the drug was present in a pediatric cough syrup prescribed for his son and from which he sipped without considering the consequences when he was still a Sevilla player and there were a handful of weeks left until the start of Qatar 2022, where he started two times as a starter -Saudi Arabia and Australia- until an injury left him without a chance.
For a long time, there was speculation about a possible retirement for the Argentine, because he could only play again at 37 years of age.
However, Papu seems to turn a deaf ear to those rumors and focus on getting himself ready to return to the playing field in the best possible conditions.
