After the announcement by the board of directors of Ammunition Hill that the mythological center will close its doors following a sharp cut in the budget - voila!
It was learned that Prime Minister Netanyahu ordered the CEO of his office to prevent the move, and the site's budget will be 5 million shekels for the coming year as well.
Besides the cut that was canceled, the board of directors of Givat Tashmoshet has another problem in accepting any budget - since the appointment of the board of directors has not been extended for over a year and a half , back when the center was under the Ministry for Jerusalem in the Bennet-Lapid government. Now, in the Prime Minister's Office, they are trying to extend the term of the board of directors in a quick procedure.
According to a source familiar with the matter - the procedure is approved by the ombudsman of the Prime Minister's Office.
Wow!
It was reported at the beginning of the week that the members of the Prime Minister's Office turned to the board of directors with a request to quickly receive the necessary materials again to carry out the process.

Even after the cancellation of the cut, the question of the future remains, as it is not clear what will happen with the Six Days Heritage Center next year.
One of the reasons for the uncertainty is the intermediate location of the center between the various government ministries and its temporary location in the Prime Minister's Office. The Prime Minister's Office is currently examining the possibility of transferring the site to the Ministry of Heritage or the Ministry for Jerusalem and Tradition.
The Prime Minister's Office stated:
After implementing the finance policy on horizontal cuts, the Director General of the Prime Minister's Office confirmed that the budget for the Ammunition Hill will not be cut following the Prime Minister's instructions. The
six-day heritage center does not know the Prime Minister's instructions.
