"To say that I am happy is an understatement, 60% is a sensational result, it has never happened except last year, let's not get used to it. When I did the first festival they told me that putting the 5 in front of the second evening would be sensational, thinking of doing 60% for two evenings is wonderful."
Among other things, the artistic director further underlines, "the rules have changed: yesterday all 15 songs had already been listened to, yet this did not prevent 60% of the public from following the evening".
The data on the start of the music are also "sensational", the Fimi data are very high".
But above all, Amadeus is keen to underline, "yesterday one of the most important pages in the history of the festival was written: Allevi taught us something that perhaps each of us knows, but sharing it with everyone is not to be underestimated".

The songs immediately boomed, 13.2 million streamed
There was an immediate boom in streaming for the songs competing in Sanremo 2024. According to the data released by Fimi, the total stream of the songs in the top ten of 2024 in the first 24 hours immediately jumped to 13,274,688;
a year ago (when there were 28 artists competing, two less than this year) there were 8,067,202;
in 2022 9,436,283;
in 2021 3,922,827: in 2020 3,086,149.
The increase is therefore 65% compared to 2023 and 330% compared to 2020. The 2024 top ten is occupied by 10 songs from the festival, compared to 9 a year ago.
In 2022 the same result, with an all-Sanremo top ten, while in the previous two years the songs from the festival in the rankings were 9 out of 10.
