Mainz/Cologne – On Monday evening (February 5th), the public broadcasters and the private broadcasters once again fought a fierce duel over the ratings.

While ZDF sent the crime thriller “Death in Mombasa” into the race, RTL premiered “The Big Reunion” from the RTL jungle camp in prime time.

In the overall quota,

ZDF crime thriller “Death in Mombasa” or RTL jungle camp: Who won the race?

Excitement and thrills were the order of the day on ZDF from 8:15 p.m.

Actor Heino Ferch (60) took on the role of German photo reporter Moritz Wagner, whose wife Farrah was found dead in Mombasa.

While he tries to solve the mysterious death of his wife, he finds himself targeted by the police.

Moritz Wagner soon discovers that he has stumbled upon a scandal involving both African and German actors.

At the same time, “The Big Reunion” of the reality series “I'm a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” was launched on RTL.

The format ensured strong ratings for two weeks.

Now, one day after the finale, all the campers gathered in the tree house again to talk about their time in the camp.

In addition to emotional retrospectives, the IBES candidates also had to face the probing questions from Sonja Zietlow (55) and Jan Köppen (40).

But was that enough to win the day?
