"It was very nice to play with so many young people and see so much talent that there is in Argentina, these types of events generate a lot of enthusiasm," shared “Chino” Fernández. “It is important for me to come back and play this tournament that I won many years ago,” declared Ángel “Pato” Cabrera, who added: “it is a great field and the entire framework that is given, with this audience, makes it more important than other tournaments.”

“We had a lot of fun, we had a great time,” said Ángel Cabrera.
“Playing the Southern Open, on this course, is very significant, this is one of the oldest and most recognized tournaments in Argentina, and it is always good to compete and be on a golf course,” he added.

This tournament is held every year and is one of the most important events in the city.
”Many people come here to play golf, but it is also the breeding ground for many young people who came out of this field and represented Playa Grande very well,” said Fernandez.
And he added: “It is something emblematic, an almost obligatory event, a tradition for golf in Argentina and that it continues in this way is beautiful.”
