Manny Goddard's family was informed that his body was taken to Gaza - this is what Kibbutz Bari announced today (Thursday).
Goddard was believed to have been murdered, but his body was never found.
His wife, Ayelet, was murdered in an attack on their home in Kibbutz Bari on October 7.
Manny and Ayelet left behind four children: Mor, Gal, Bar and Goni and six grandchildren.
His children say that he was the most devoted and loving father and grandfather, a family man who cared for everyone around him, a man of the sea and love, and an ardent fan of Hapoel Tel Aviv.
Manny moved to Bari when he was 13 years old, during his life he worked in several positions in the kibbutz;
He served as a printer at Bari printing house, managed the kibbutz's department store and pool, also worked as the chief economist, at the same time he was a player and coach of the local soccer team.
His body was kidnapped to Gaza.

The number of abductees from Kibbutz Bari stands at 11, of whom six were murdered: Ilan Weiss, Ofra Kider, Sahar Baruch, Itai Sabirsky, Yossi Shaarabi and, as mentioned, Manny Goddard.
Five more are held captive by Hamas: Eli Sharabi, Tal Shoham, Carmel Gat, Ohad Ben Ami, Dror Or.
"The loss and suffering of the families is enormous and shocking, and has been going on for 125 days. We demand that the war cabinet do everything to bring all the abductees home. The price is heavy, the enemy is cruel, but every minute that the abductees are not within Israel's borders is one minute too many," the statement said Kibbutz Ari.
