All of the fashion chain's branches closed in October, and a few months later founder Klaus Hallhuber died. This emerges from an obituary notice.
Munich – “We miss you!
“In loving memory and gratitude,” his children wrote in an obituary: “We say goodbye to our beloved dad.” Klaus Hallhuber is dead. The Munich fashion entrepreneur died on January 11th at the age of 77.

In it, the children also say that a funeral service has already taken place in a small circle.
There is no further information about Klaus Hallhuber's death.
However , Bild
wants
to know more.
The paper writes that Hallhuber suffered a stroke from which he never recovered.
In addition to his three children, he leaves behind an ex-wife.
Hallhuber branches closed a few months ago - the company is desperately looking for an investor
Together with his father Josef, Klaus Hallhuber founded the company of the same name in 1977 and opened the first Hallhuber store in Munich.
Although he left the company in 1995, he remained connected to the family.
The company was sold to Karl Schleicher, owner of the Rosner clothing company from Ingolstadt.
In the summer of 2023, the Hallhuber fashion chain went bankrupt for the second time.
At that time, around 1,100 people were employed there in 113 branches.
The company's management was determined to continue running the company, but apparently failed in its search for investors.
All Hallhuber branches closed in October 2023.
However, the company had not given up hope.
Head of communications Frank Elsner announced that the search would continue.
