This was declared by the mayor of Avetrana, Antonio Iazzi, confirming that in the next few hours the local police order closing Via Deledda to traffic will be signed in view of the release from prison (scheduled for next Sunday) and the return to the house of Michele Misseri, of 69 years old.

Misseri served - obtaining a sentence reduction of over 400 days - the 8-year prison sentence for the suppression of the body of his niece Sarah Scazzi, who was killed at the age of 15 and thrown into a well on 26 August 2010. Sentenced for the murder is Michele's wife, Cosima Serrano, and daughter Sabrina, who are serving a life sentence in Taranto prison.

Michele Misseri is currently detained in Lecce prison.

    According to the sentences, the crime was triggered by romantic rivalries and disagreements between Sabrina and Sarah.
