Since 2020 - interrupted by Corona - there has been Culture Monday at Beccult in Pöcking.
The organizers have now presented the program for this year.
The series, which is free to the public, has become established.

– The Pöckinger Cultural Monday has established itself in the social life of the community and beyond.
The Beccult has now presented a varied program for 2024, in which both the artists and the organizers will be on voluntary work.
Culture Monday takes place once a month in Beccult.
Amateurs can take the stage just as much as professionals, and slide presentations can be performed as well as concerts.
The format is based on voluntary work: The helpers at Beccult mostly work for free, and the artists and speakers do not receive a fixed fee.
They get the donations that the audience is asked for.
It can happen that the Beccult is really full on a Culture Monday.
The program for 2024 is now available up to and including November.
It includes a balanced mix of music, lectures, film and literature.
“We had between 15 and 20 offers for this year,” says Pöcking’s cultural officer Albert Luppart.
From this you have to carefully select what Beccult manager Britt Grobholz and the Culture Monday team did.
After the classical start with the “Löwe-Duo” in January, February will focus on a historical theme.

Walter Irlinger from the State Office for Monument Preservation will explain details about the Pöcking burial mound field on Monday, February 19th at 7 p.m.
The field, which includes around 100 burial mounds, is one of the largest cemeteries of the Hallstatt period (800 to 450 BC) and is the only example of this group of monuments that has been partially subjected to modern archaeological investigations.
Irlinger wants to report on the excavations and provide insights into Iron Age settlement.
Culture Monday offers short film cinema on Monday, March 18th.
The Pöckingen filmmaker Lukas März presents short films from the University of Television and Film that come from filmmakers in the Starnberg district or were made around Lake Starnberg.
It should also be entertaining at Culture Monday in April: Yvonne Silichner can be seen on the Beccult stage with her cabaret program “The Naked Truth”.
It's about the everyday life of a physiotherapist, the dangers of pollen and the question of whether sport is really murder.
The “Carnival of the Animals” by Camille Saint-Saens awaits visitors to Culture Monday on Monday, May 27th.

In addition, Erich Kasberger reads “Cheerful things between the Bible, the climate, the ox and the kangaroo,” as the announcement says.
