Mary Roos will be on the road with her cabaret program until December, after which she will retire.

How does she feel about a possible comeback?

Hamburg – Comebacks are part of the music and show business and are now cleverly staged by many artists to keep the public happy.

Pop icon Mary Roos (75) is currently slowly but surely retiring - and has a clear opinion about whether a return to the spotlight would be conceivable for her.

Mary Roos: She definitely doesn't want a comeback

The singer is currently on tour with her program “More Hookers, More Coke – Fuck the Strawberries,” a cabaret show that she brings to the stage together with Wolfgang Stapelr (62).

It will continue until the end of 2024, but then it will be over.

She no longer wants to appear on stage, let alone sing.

In the NDR podcast “Feel Hamburg”, the pop singer, whose real name is Marianne Rosemarie Böhm, now spoke about the fact that she actually wants to say goodbye to show business.

When asked by moderator Daniel Kaiser whether she would consider making a comeback like so many of her colleagues do, she said: "You have to know when it's good." And she has a specific reason why she is in Wants to keep the future away from stages, namely: “I don’t want people to watch me get older.

I don’t like that.” She might still attend a talk show every now and then.
