Two men are said to have used a weapon to force a pizza delivery man to give them pizzas.
The police have now arrested the suspects.
Merseburg - The police have arrested two men who are said to have threatened a pizza delivery person with a weapon.
The men were found with the help of a tip from the public, the police said on Thursday.
At the end of January, they are said to have initially threatened a pizza delivery person with a weapon and asked him to give them several pizzas.
The day before, the men, aged 18 and 31, are said to have stolen food worth several hundred euros from a supermarket in Merseburg and threatened several people in the process.
An investigating judge at the Merseburg district court issued an arrest warrant against the men last week, it was said.
