Summary.
From January 24 to February 2, Shamran Mehmood Raja, a 38-year-old Pakistani, was tried by the Val-de-Marne Assize Court for the murder of Sandra, a 23-year-old young woman, in 2019.
At the time, this young student had mysteriously disappeared from a Franprix supermarket, in Quincy-sous-Sénart in Essonne.
After three days of great concern for her family and friends, Sandra's body was found lifeless and tied up in the trunk of her own car.
Shamran Mahmood Raja, an employee in this convenience store, was the last to see the young woman alive.
His incoherent comments and his DNA found on the victim quickly made him the number one suspect.
He received a sentence of 20 years in prison.
Three relatives of the murderer were also convicted of complicity.
