A table football in the reception hall, a refectory with a hand-written menu offering a tempting gratin dauphinois... It's hard to imagine, upon entering the brand new Constance-Pascal mental health center in Taverny (Val-d 'Oise), that it is a care structure.
And yet.
Opened recently in the city center, the facility belonging to the Simone-Veil hospital in Eaubonne-Montmorency welcomes patients suffering from mental disorders, depression and anxiety.
A way of responding “with empathy, humanity and professionalism to the growing needs in mental health”, according to Maxime Thory (LR), mayor of Montmorency and president of the hospital supervisory board.

Still according to the WHO, one in four people are affected by psychological disorders at some point in their life.
