THE PLACE.
Emmanuel Renaut's hotel-restaurant, 3 stars in Megève, deploys its sober and light room which revolves around the oak, old (buffet) as new (tables without tablecloths).
Entirely oriented towards the bay window, it offers an exceptional full-face view of Mont-Blanc - you almost think you see rope teams.
A hell of a challenge for the plate to compete.
THE PLATE.
The lunch menu starts with a very fine Termignon blue cheese tart, crumbling under a mountain of trumpets-de-la-mort and chanterelles, accentuated by a delicious grilled onion juice.
Follows the pork tenderloin, slightly pink, to accompany salsify (candied, pureed, in chips), a fir condiment and above all an exceptional jus, this time mounted a la mondeuse.
Finally, after a hibiscus sorbet, here is the Mont Blanc, served in granite, whipped cream, blueberry puree, chestnuts and fine meringues to imitate the peaks.
It's clear, pretty, precise
