If ice hockey fans' hearts don't beat faster: the reigning vice world champion Germany will meet Austria at the end of April.
The game will be played in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Garmisch-Partenkirchen – The reigning vice world champion is coming to Garmisch-Partenkirchen!
The German national ice hockey team will play one of its five preparation games for the 2024 World Cup under the Alpspitze in the Olympic Ice Sports Center.
When?
On Thursday, April 25th.
Against who?
The neighbor from Austria is then a guest.
In addition, national coach Harold Kreis' team will not just arrive that day, play the game and leave again.
On the other hand, the DEB team will be pitching its tents in the market from the 22nd to the 26th.
“It is a great honor for the winter sports resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the entire ice hockey in Werdenfelser Land and for us as organizers of the training camp and the international match to be able to call the reigning vice world champion our guest at the Olympic Ice Sports Center for four days,” emphasizes Sebastian Ziener , branch manager of SC Riessersee.
The fans can therefore not only expect the game against Austria, they can also look forward to show training sessions with the German stars, including an autograph session.
