District - The topic of wind turbines and thus the decision about possible priority areas is currently agitating people.

The CSU criticizes the city's lack of concepts.

But there are also other critics.

At its most recent meeting, the Munich Regional Planning Association (RPV) discussed the partial update of the wind energy control concept and approved a preliminary draft.

Through the resolution, the RPV regulates the future locations for wind turbines.

In order for the required energy to be generated in the region, the priority areas identified in the search area must be used accordingly.

Wind power projects between the districts

In a survey of the municipalities in the region, the municipalities were able to report municipal interests, such as planned residential or commercial areas in the future, that conflict with the privileging of wind turbines.

“Fürstenfeldbruck failed to report its interests to the RPV in a timely manner with a land use plan (FNP), which shows the potential development of building land in Aich and Puch,” explains Martin Kellerer (CSU).

The CSU had repeatedly suggested setting up an FNP to regulate wind turbines between Aich and Puch.

According to the CSU, Mayor Christian Götz has known about specific wind power projects between the districts since May 2023 at the latest.

There would therefore still have been enough time to represent the city's interests to the RPV.

The CSU criticizes the mayor's inaction here.

No concept?

“It is now important that we - ideally also in consultation with Landsberied - on the one hand coordinate our plans regarding settlement development in Aich and Puch and on the other hand decide on the positive plans for the wind turbines and report them to the RPV,” demands parliamentary group spokesman Andreas Lohde.

At the city council meeting in January, he also pointed out that the deadline for this feedback on the objections and plans of the RPV members expires after eight weeks.

Even if the RPV can ignore the municipalities' submissions when determining the priority areas for the wind turbines, it must at least take the municipalities' objections into account.

“If the city does not use the opportunities given to it to have a say and does not present a concept, then we do not have to complain when others decide about our concerns,” warns Lohde.

Unequal treatment

Landsberied also has a clear opinion regarding the planned wind turbine southwest of Aich.

“Unfortunately, when I asked about the status of their planning, I only received very vague information from the Stadtwerke Fürstenfeldbruck, which, it should be noted, is also the operator of the electricity supply network in Landsberied, such as the city of Fürstenfeldbruck,” explains Andrea Schweitzer, first mayor of Landsberied.

The proximity to the community is particularly negative.

A distance of at least 1.5 kilometers is planned so as not to hinder future local development.

“It is 900 meters to the Aich district and the built-up community of Landsberied.

I cannot understand or accept this unequal treatment.

The community of Landsberied will also continue to develop over the next few decades.

There is a real risk that this wind turbine will hinder the local development of Landsberied,” emphasizes the mayor.
