So there was an adversary.
Author and speaker Marianne Williamson suspended her presidential campaign Wednesday evening, after evidence of her failure in Nevada on Tuesday.
The only female candidate in the Democratic primary challenging the legitimacy of the outgoing president to run again received 2.9% of the vote in the Nevada primary, half as much as the "none of the candidates" option present (5.8%) , and so far from the 89.3% won by Joe Biden.

“It is our duty to create a vision of justice and love so powerful that it will prevail over the forces of hatred, injustice and fear,” declared the Texan who, since 2004, calls for the creation of a Ministry for Peace.
On February 26, 2023, Williamson became the first person to challenge the president for the Democratic nomination when she announced her 2024 presidential campaign. She went on to receive 4% of the vote in the New Hampshire primary, then 2.1 % in South Carolina.
Totaling zero delegates at the end of the first three rounds, she announced her decision to end her campaign.
“First, they ignore you.
Then they laugh at you.
Then they fight.
Then you don't win," she wrote in a letter, thanking those who have accompanied her for a year, "we have expressed truths deeper and more authentic than those regularly recognized by the political establishment" , she says.
