The “Pilat dune” of Corbeil-Essonnes.
This is what its neighbors nickname the enormous mound of earth which has risen on the outskirts of the Francilienne (N 104) since June 2020. Day after day, the car dealers in the commercial zone had watched, helplessly, the ballet of backhoe loaders dumping thousands of cubic meters of earth partly on their right-of-way, without their agreement, to the point of blocking the view of motorists on the N 104 of their signs.
One of them had filed a complaint.

An illegal dumping which alerted the authorities, including the State, to whom this land belongs.
After three and a half years of investigations, three business leaders were brought before the courts on Wednesday February 7 as part of an investigation opened for “irregular waste management” and “illegal abandonment or dumping of waste” .
They are being prosecuted for having participated in this large-scale pollution.
